Paula Radcliffe. Hopefully she's somewhere near her best and could break the course record.

Checked this earlier on. Unless they're damn fast it ain't going to be full coverage.

    14:00 Live New York Marathon
    15:00 Live WTA Tennis
    16:00 Live New York Marathon
    16:05 Live WTA Tennis
    17:10 New York Marathon
    17:15 ....

Would love to see it and would love to see Ryan Hall win the men's. Unfortunately it's on the same time as the Dublin Seniors - damn you time difference!

Paula in leading group of six @ nine miles. Men just started.

Paula seems to mbe trying to make some sort of a move now, still 5 in the group.
But not for too long i guess, seems to be some splits in the group starting.

Five American men in the top ten at halfway.

Paula leads a group of five at Mile 17 - getting interesting.

Yeah she's looking strong, it's a familiar course for her too so I'd imagine she's only going to get better too.

I disagree,if Paula was at her best she would be clear of this group.tulu to win in a sprint finish.Radcliffe 2nd or 3rd.
might have egg on my face in 25mins:P

True, but i though she looked bad a few miles ago when there was a slight break and looked better for a while, but not looking so good now... going off the back,
Seems to be limping slightly but hard to tell with her.

Keb looking strong too. Another runner leading wearing the 'armlet' yokes. Farah won the great south run wearing them last week. They must make you go faster :)

Yeah, but NY is tougher, way more hills and the breeze was in there face for the majority of the first half, all on concrete aswell except the iron parts
I reckon you could allow 3/4 minutes in comparison to Dublin

An Irish girl finished in the top 25...Jill Hodgins ...2.52.21...

a great time ...she is an ex hockey international ...I think her 3rd marathon having done Dub last yr (about 3.20) and Toronto ( about 3.10) ...she has been placed well in the Adidas series this year
