Just wondering how often your car needs to go for the nct. Is it every two years? My car is a 2001 and was Nct'd in Nov 2007.
    Thanks

First test is four years old and then every 2 year after that. IE. 2006 car, tested first in 2010 and then 2012, 2014... etc

It does not depend on the date it was NCT'd. Its due on the date of first registration which may or may not be november 2001 in your case. It is possible that your car was late being tested. In that case the test would anly be valid for a year and a bit.... taking it up to date of first registration.
