    Hi,
I usually get my hair coloured at Peter Mark every 3 months. In an effort to save money I was going to skip a treatment and wait it out til Christmas.

HOWEVER  I discovered last week that I'm having my photo taken for the local paper and I have about 2 inches of dark roots in my light brown hair!!!!

Can anyone recommend which hair colour product to use from the supermarket shelf? I could break down and pay the money but I've come so far....

    Thanks in advance.

I was a home dye person for years but it destroyed my hair and I ended up having to get it stripped last weekend because of all the build up:-( could you not just get your roots done maybe in a salon? i used always use Boots own brand or Clairol for home colour...

i would check it out with your own hairdresser before you do it but i think that if you use a home dye they may not do your colour again for you as it can be affected by the chemicals....
would you think about styling it in such a way that might disguise the roots?
