I just want some short term volunteerism. I don't want something to last the whole year (or i might if i liked it) but i don't want to get tied down to something i might not like or might colide with something in the future but no fund raising or selling badges etc. A lot of the volunteer things on the site were like almost professional teacher hours and qualifications needed.

Anyone have volunteer experience? How did you get into it?
