Started off with old irish army gear then found a army surpuls shop in cork and bought camo trousers for e8 still have them they never rip or tear, great gear, but bought some modern waterproof stuff this year.

The longer you shoot the more important good gear becomes! Goretex all the way. Cant beat being comfortable. Harkila and Norrona do great stuff, havent tried much else.

have loads of different DPM uniforms so i vary them. everyone in my club wears british pattern so i like to mix it up a bit:D. my favourite is my swedish uniform. pattern looks very weird but it actually works very well!! just got myself woodland camo goretex abroad so looking forward to checking that out:D

    a cap
i have a pair of green army pant's, not too heavy so i don't work up a sweat, usually cover a few miles cross country at a time.

depending on the weather for the day, will wear a light shirt and have a jacket, green or camo.

i also bring a bag over my shoulder to carry the victims !! pheasant/duck......and in it i bring a pair of leggings like the attached,(plastic and not heavy ones like the barber in the pic) in case i go through wet rushy fields, or if walking through fields early in morning, stop the dew from soaking myself. also handy for travelling through gorse or rough terrain...

    http://mammothworkwear.com/dickies-workwear/waterproof-clothing/jackets-and-coats/dickies-wax-leggings_400x400_97_465.jpg

i cut up a tyre tube ( like rubber bands) and put it over the bottom of the legging's (around wellies) and fold the leggings into the rubber like you would your socks going into wellies.

Thats funny JW, I would have had you down for the last of the summer wine type rigout, you know the tweed breeks that go to the knee with the wool socks up over them, waist jacket, Sherlock Holmes hat, single eye glass, handle bar tash and the old pipe of course followed by the odd dram from the hip flask and not forgetting the pocket watch in the inside pocket hangin on the chain. Its funny how ya can form a picture of someone in your head without ever meeting them. Im wrong here of course. :D
