    Hi,
Was looking at an ad for a 1999 vauxhall astra of recent, the owner claimed that the insurance is really cheap as the car was registered in ireland for the first time in 2007, it came from the uk originally. Is this true? Just because the car was registered in Ireland for the first time in 2007, how would this make the insurance any cheaper?

I doubt it, I say it was just a little marketing gimick to sell the car. ;)
