UK Online Ordering - Delays?

Howdy,

I pre-ordered Borderlands two weeks before release from Zavvi, according to their 'Order Status' page it was dispatched on the 21st... and I still haven't recieved it.

Now I ordered Fallout GOTY from them too, and it arrived the next day after being dispatched so I don't think it's their fault.

I'm wondering has anyone else been caught like this where a package takes an age and a day to arrive, presumably because of the royal mail strike? Is anyone here still waiting on anything? I'm going mad here becuase I'm dying to play the game!

I know its not the UK but I ordered Uncharted 2 off CDWOW the week before its release and still haven't got it...

Thankfully I made the decision to buy it when I was in town on its release day or else I would have missed out.

Fairly peeved that I haven't got the CDWOW one cos it was dispatched on the 19th

Well the strike was on the 22-23'rd, so I would imagine it was actually shipped on monday 26'th. If you dont get it by monday the 2'nd id send them an email. My copy of borderlands was delayed aswell, but just by a day.

I bought it from CDWOW as well and it was also dispatched the 19th and same as you mine hasn't arrived!
Emailed the idiots and this is the reply:

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to advise us that your order has not yet arrived.
We have complete confidence in our delivery partners; however, due to varying factors out of our control, there may be occasions when deliveries are delayed.
We are confident that delivery will be made shortly and appreciate your patience. Should your item not arrive after 21 days of the original shipment date please notify us by return email.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and once again thank you for your continued patience.

I think they have messed up somewhere as my brother ordered off them a week after me and his order arrived last Tuesday!
Never again will I order from this shower.:mad:

did that a few time ordered a game for dirt cheap off some site and instead of waiting buy it in a shop on release then return the unopened internet game so it works out i only pay the cheaper price.

CDwow are terrible. I wouldn't go near them, always this carry on, takin ages to deliver things. I had it I think with Burnout paradise a couple of years ago and i havent went near them again.

They have been striking this week too. Thurs, Fri, Sat and this Monday.

Exact same with me. However I'm not in any hurry to play it, got myself Forza 3 and The Ballad of Gay Tony to hold me over.
