just registered for a 5 week, 2 nights per week course with Fas. I'm just wondering whether hairdressing is something that one can 'learn' or does one really need a strong natural innate aptitude?. Would there be much opportunity for work experience after this short course?. Would be nice to hear from a hairdresser.
    Thanks
    Alan

Hey Alan, congrats on signing up for the course, yes you can learn but you do need to love it!

I dont know how much experience you will get from this course, and to be honest I dont know if there are many salons taking on people now the way the country is, I know Im not.

Just hand in CV`s everywhere :D

Thanks...it's more out of interest to be honest, hard to say what if anything will happen after, but always wanted to do a course in hairdressing, so at least I'll enjoy the journey....regardless of destination!;)

I love people....have an eccentric and outgoing personality......but I'm sure if people are paying for their hair that they can be demanding? as I am too!:)
