watched this film last nite and dont bother...its a waste of time. The concept is ok but doesn't hold attention to make a film out of it. Ricky Gervais just isnt a film actor. Alot of product placement too in the film which is always annoying to see. Anyways bewarned.........................

Seen it a few days ago and thought it was very good, much better than Ghost town anyway!

The product placement was amusing e.g Pepsi...for when they don't have Coke, the film had quite a few funny moments.

It's true though that the film deos run out of steam towards the end, but then again I don't think anybody going to see this film expects anything special

I'll reserve judgement until I have seen this myself, I think Ricky is a good actor though.

I liked Ghost Town, Extras, The Office and his stand up so I expect I'll also like The Invention of Lying (night at the museum films... meh, not so much)

The religious backlash against this film though is reason enough for me to see it. "Down with this sort of thing" :D

Saw it on a date recently. Bit uncomfortable for a date movie at times, but we both enjoyed it.
Much better than I was expecting anyway.

It was a good idea but failed horribly in my mind. With everybody going around insulting each other and my hatered for Ricky.Saying that I liked goust town and extras but I dont like him, something about him bothers me.His stand up was terrible.
