Hey all I just want to know if anyone can help me on this:

My partner is legally seperated since Jan 09 and as legal seperations go everything was agreed on and papers were signed off on and are now pending divorce.

One of the things in the seperation agreement was that from the time the papers are signed by both parties that if either party should come into money or obtain assets the other party has no right to claim a share of it.

But here's the thing...my partner has just been told that they company that he works for are going to close and therefore he will lose his job. If he gets redundancy, can she in some way claim a share of that money? Bearing in mind she will now have to get her child maintaince paid to her by the social as he is out of work. The redundancy money (if there's any) will have to go on bills to keep us going for the time being and will probably be spend by the time Jan 2010 comes along as thats when the divorce should be.

    Does anyone have any info?
    Thanks
    Poms
