my laguna, mirage 03, has a problem with the heating/ac....it turns on but nothing much comes out of the vents even when on full speed - i've checked the fuse and thats ok....

any help as to a diagnosis & solution would be great

Your a/c might need to be regased, it is also possible that there is a leak in the system.

You might need a new pollen filter?

thanks, are they something that can be done yourself or do they have to be carried out by a mechanic?

I take it the fan works at speeds 1 to 4? If so I'd say change your pollin filter....it should be an easy enough diy job.

Renaults fans have problems with the resistor blowing on the fan and only works at no 4 if this is the case.

Re ease of replacing the pollen filter, it varies by car. They're usually doable at home, but it varies between easy and a bit of a pain.

nothing at all comes out at any speed - clearing the windows is so slow and only get going when driving along not in traffic, that said not much comes out then either
