    well guys/gals...

Have only just joined this, it was suggested to me by a friend, i think his reasoning behind it was so as I might stop annoying him all the time by going on about my previos nights shooting or how the 1st of november is drawing ever so close(woo hoo). he uses boards often enough but not for this but he said i might find some like minded people to chat to here.

Just reading down through all ye're threads and comments and all i can say is that its a pity i hadn't joined this a few years ago, ah well, im here now so ill leave ye with this comment...................

    ROLL ON SUNDAY!!!!:D

Well thats good to know, often have questions about different things and often find it hard to get advice from other members in the local gun club.

No this is only my 3rd season at the pheasants, excited about it though as i have a new dog on the go and shes on top form so... I do a fair bit of lamping for foxes too this time of year. kinda do it al really, was at ducks last weekend and the plan is to have a gun bought for deer before next years season rolls around...

Are u mainly a bird man yourself?

Cheers for all the welcomes lads... Just going bringing the springers for a short run up the fields now, give them a taste for whats to come in the morning!

Going heading off to look at another pup then, another springer bitch. She's 8 weeks, black and white. Tail isnt done though! Is it too late to go at that now with her being 8 weeks?

I think its usually done within the first week or so.

the tail has to be docked with in 5 or 6 days

Yea i left her there anyway.. too much hassle buying a springer without her tail being done. i dont think it suits them at all..
