Last week i decided to get a delivery from the local chinese. Now i'm usually a one trick pony with chinese menus and i always opt for beef or chicken with mushrooms and noodles but i'd become extremely bored of both these dishes so i decided to get something different and i went for the shredded beef with chili.

I didn't set my hopes too high and was preparing to have to feed it to the dog but i was very pleasantly surprised and hammered it down in record time.

This week i decided on a chinese again and decided on the beef with chili again only to be met with a different dish altogether. The one the previous week had strips of beef in a batter, the usual vegetables, a toned down version of a sweet and sour sauce and had a nice hit of heat in the background. This weeks offering was beef cooked the same way, no sauce, veg and huge amounts of chili to the point that it was far too hot for me and even the dog turned his nose up to it.

Now i don't know what to do.

I don't want to have to go back to the mushroom option.
Does anyone know what the first dish was?

My local do a marvellous dish called a chicken ball special.

It's a 3-in-1 in a long tray with chicken balls on top of it. The whole thing is smothered in curry sauce. Gorgeous, a real delicacy.

Once you don't get salmonella or E-Coli off it, that's the first step in the right direction!:D

A good standard reliable dish, that seems to be on every Chinese menu, is Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce. Get that w/boiled rice. Can't go wrong, really!

My local Chinese defo has THE BEST aromatic duck ever. Savage stuff so it is.

I thought this had to do with executions. :D

My son got the wrong order last weekend. He ordered sweet & sour chicken Hong Kong style and they delivered Chicken balls. He gave it back.
