I do a bit of gambling online. I mainly use PP. What other sites are good for gambling online in Ireland. I am asking from the point of view of easy to deposit, set-up and withdraw. I'd appreciate any feedback from those who use other gambling sites.

    Ladbrokes.

Easy to set up, once opened 24 hours you can withdraw funds from any high-street shop which are scattered all over the country. You can also deposit so no need for the use of a debit/credit card and other deposit methods. Simply head to the shop and deposit your funds.

Their odds for football are competitive and they've got their act together with their horse-racing section by offering best-odds-guaranteed.

They bet-in-play on a whole host of events and also stream a lot of them too (can watch without having a bet by simple logging in)

Customer service is decent in terms of the poker/sports and casino side of things. I've dealt with better but also with much worse. You shouldn't have too many issues though so that's my advice for you mate.

Have you an account with betfair , do you rate ladbrokes to be better than betfair..Withdrawing and depositing to the account by walking into your nearest shop is great, i never realised ladbrokes did that..Do Powers do it also? I recently opened an account wit betfair , but its a pain, had to go to bank and do a bank transfer.. Wont have to worry about withdrawing as iv blew the 150 i transfered into it already..I love the idea on betfair where you can lay things to lose.. Id fancy myself to make a few pound laying teams in the soccer, i didnt get a chance to as i blew the 150 on horses after a few days..

Betfair is the way to go. Prices much better than the bookies ;)

There are tons of bookmakers out there. Have a look at oddscomparisons.com. They display prices from the more popular.
Betfair are not as good price wise as they once were.
Look around for sign up bonuses. There are plenty of them.

Be careful Forky. People around here will attack you for that comment. :)

    I'll stand by it.

Just for interest I'll have a look at the favs at Wetherby today (I haven't checked these previous to writing, just for interest):
    (all to returns on €100)
    1.30: Command Marshal:
    betfair: €161.50, 8 bookies: €162.50
    2.05: Bannville
    betfair: €85.50, 4 bookies: €90.91
    2.40 Bible Lord
    betfair: €370.50, 4 bookies: €400
    Professor Higgins
    betfair: €370.50, 5 bookies: €350
    3.15 Mohanad
    betfair: €247, 2 bookies: €275
    3.45 Hunting Tower
    betfair: €209, 3 bookies: €225
    4.15 Pistol Basc
    betfair: €332.50, betfred: €400

In most of those cases you can get guaranteed odds with the bookies. A total no brainer on favs at Wetherby today! :)

To be honest, although not Irish, I'm a big William Hill fan.
Very good website layout, quick payouts and withdraw at any time.
Usually offer the best odds on Football too.
    Hope it helps.

    Good advice.

I was going to add William Hill as you can withdraw from their high-street shops but there is only have a handful of shops scattered over the country and the likelyhood of you finding one anywhere near you is quite slim.

But they are a decent organisation to bet with.

In the UK if you withdraw back to your card it's there usually the next day, 2 at max. Not sure though with Ireland as my account is in the UK.

Betfair every time. They all end up taking your money, but Betfair make you feel better.

To be fair, on betfair, the outsider prices are the ones I go for anyways.

12/1 bookie can be 14/1 betfair.
16/1 bookie can be 20/1 betfair

Have to say Boyles offer a great product, it is not over-killed with markets, and they are very competitive with their margain on some sports!
