munitions tech british army?

    Hi all,

    Just looking for some advise here. Im 31 and have seen an add for a munitions tech, in the UK. I love shooting as a sport. Collect millitera and have a degree in chemistry. I just think it would be my ideal job! But need some advise of what its like been irish in the British army? Or how long I would be away from my girlfriend and family. Also abit out of shape since collage etc notting major but once you start to drive, its beer gut time. :( How long would it take me to get into shape for the training etc? Been in mind max limit for army is 33?

    Anyone any idea of what its like in the EOD?

    Contact them for more info and go on a potential recruits weekend, where you can check it out.

    You will face 100x more hostility back home from the bigots then you will in the BA if your Irish.
