Is anyone doing the optional oral? My class isn't, but I'm considering it.

Also, can only one person from a class do it if they want to?

Why would you want to do it? It's the JC. You won't get any points for it!

It's 40% of the marks in the overall exam if you do it. If listening is 20%, it's now 12% etc. Just takes a bit of pressure off you for the acual exam

To have 30 per cent of the exam done before you go in - if you do the oral, you are marked out of 400 marks, if you don't you are marked out of 240.

If I was doing the JC again, I'd love to do the oral, and the aural is now worth less.
