France Punches Scientology in the Face

    We don't pick on Scientology much around these parts, more because it is just so easy a target there is no point. But I'm sure few of our regulars have any doubt that it is a life destroying cult of sinister and deceptive intent.

    So, it can only come as good news that a French court has fined them over half a million euro for fraud! http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9BJIDAG0&show_article=1

    They could have forced them to stop operating in the country but chose not to, and it is disappointing that the sentences were suspended, but I still think it is a nice step towards a saner world. Couple this with rising recognition of their awful nature around the world, and the ongoing campaign Anonymous are conducting against them, I think Scientology is losing a lot of the power it had.
