Hi, I'm just wondering has anyone hired those carpet cleaner appliances from B&Q. Was it pricey and what were the results like afterwards? Also, was it a difficult job to undertake?

I've never hired one, but I did try to clean a carpet years ago with a Vax wet & dry vacuum cleaner and it was a huge job that didn't turn out great.

On the other hand, I had a seriously manky suite of furniture and a few weeks ago I got a reputable company in to clean it. The guy spent almost 2 hours working on it and it's as good as the day we bought it.
