    Hiya,

Am looking for recommendations for a good hair salon in Dublin city center. Have baby fine hair so need to get a good cut and my highlights sorted, (they've gone a bit brassy, think I need to tone them down.)

Am getting married next year and want to start getting my hair into shape, so dont mind splurging on someone really good.

Any thoughts would be very appreciated.....

I was having awful trouble with my hair last year and went to Kevin in Moyo. It's an Aveda salon just off Camden Street. I find him great - he's a bit pricey - think the 1st consultation is 100e or thereabouts - but, he does such a great cut that I only need to go to him about once every 5 or 6 months! There is a website that comes up if you google it.

It's not exactly city centre - but Hessions in Drumcondra I've found really good. I'd usually use Ciara there - she's a senior stylist and really good, gives great advice too.

Here's a link to their website where you can get the prices, location etc:

I second hessions in Drumcondra. Only hairdresser ive ever went to that they really listen to you and always leave looking fab. I go to justin(senior stylist) for cut and sharon for highlights(senior colourist). They give great advice. But any of the ppl working there are top notch-have been pleased if had to get cut done by someone else if justin not in. They rock! Pricey but worth it.

I went to Dave in the hairdressers in the GPO arcade on Henry St - sorry I can't remember the name of the place!
€80 for cut and t-bar highlights, it looked good, and will be going back.

Have very fine hair and spent 7 months growing out layers etc to try thicken it up only for my usual hairdresser to chop them all off! Grrr! I now think it's time to try a new hairdresser. Does anyone hair any suggestions? Would love if there were some hairdressers out there that specialise in fine hair!

    Thanks!

I'd recommend Boutique - they're at the bottom of Nassau street. Nat or Eimaer are very good with fine hair - they both cut and colour and I had it done with them both. I love lots of volume and they are great for making my hair really full.

Thanks for that. Very hard to get a good cut with such fine hair. Looks pricey about €100 for a cut is that correct? Is it worth it?
