Guys looking to start tri's next year but swimming is very poor so have to work on it over the winter. Level at the moment is 2 set of about 10 lenghts consisting of 1 up on front crawl back on breast stroke. Can anyone recommend a good programme with the aim of completing tri's next year. Thanks

Learning to swim to complete? You've plenty of time. Have a look at the proper technique for front crawl, two good resouces are the BBC masterclasses and YouTube for phelps or thorpe frontcrawl. Then it's a matter of going to the pool three or four times a week and trying to do it yourself. After a while you should be swimming a good few lengths and then if look at maybe getting some lessons or joining a tri club. Just what I'd do. (what I did)
