    hi all,

I currently have Chorus cable but I'm thinking of cancelling it and buying a quad lnb for my satellite dish. This will allow me to receive all the BBC's, ITV's, Channel 4, More 4, Five, etc. I will stand to lose about 4 channels namely Sky One, Nickelodeon/Comedy Central, 3e & Living Tv by changing.

I have one problem though, I'm not sure about what Aerial I need to receive RTE One, RTE 2, TV3 & TG4. Will a Contract Aerial do the job? http://tvtrade.ie/show/28,UHF-Contract-aerial--wide-band-Black

I'm not sure what "group" Aerial that I need. I think Woodcock Hill is Group B (yellow) which is the nearest transmitter, but as far as I know that is now a digital transmitter so would I need an Aerial compatible for Maghera?

    Please help!

Where exactly in Limerick are you?? It is indeed a Yellow Tip Aerial that you require for Woodcock hill, depending on where you are you may need an amplifier to boost the signal... looking at woodcock hill, the RTE transmitter is the furthest mast to the right hand side when looking at the Giant golf ball.

so, would the contract aerial do -> http://tvtrade.ie/show/57,UHF-Contract-aerial-Group-B-Yellow which costs over €10

    or

would I need this one which is over €30 ->http://tvtrade.ie/show/27,Grid-UHF-Aerial

(I will be connecting the aerial to 4 tv's)

Group B is the correct one for Woodcock Hill for analogue and DTT, the tvtrade.ie website says the correct group aerial will perform the same as the grid aerial with the advantage of taking up less space on the pole.
