    hey there everyone,

i was wondering if anyone could tell me where/how to buy tickets for an Ireland match (either 6 nations or international) it would be the home matches only. I had a quick look, but it seems you have to be part of a supporters club, is that right??
Would really appreciate the help, I owe my dad a really good bday/Xmas present!!

    Cheers:D

If you're not a rugby club member, or can't get your hands on some of your club's tickets, you can buy tickets on irishrugby.ie (IRFU website). Supporters' Club members get first pick of these tickets but for the Autumn Internationals they did release tickets for public sale afterwards. Only Fiji tickets for the North or South stands (i.e. behind the goals) are still available.

Got my tickets in the door today. Seats arent great, in fact, they are probably the worst seats in the house but meh. Bring on November :D

I too got my tickets for the Autumn's from IRFU supporters club. Very mediocre tickets (ok, they're crap really) but hey, beggars can't be choosers - it'll be 2 good days out anyway hopefully.

Still haven't got my tickets, I assume I shouldn't be worried yet considering they have tens of thousands to post out?

Yeah, they seem to have tucked us away in a corner. Me, literally in the bloody corner in Row Z section 701 in Upper cusack. Cant get any higher than that, and cant get any further away than that either.

For those that think their seats aren't the best... I was in row z of the upper tier right in one of the corners (can't remember which stand, but think it was Cusack actually) for two of the 6N matches last year, and I had a superb view. I was so surprised at how well I could see. So don't fret ;)

Croke park is best viewed from the upper tiers!

To watch a hurling match aint that bad in the serious nose bleed section and same with the gaelic football.

I was up high in the hogan last year and was great.

Don't worry you'll be fine with the row z i thought they went in double letters anyway so your not all the way back i don't think maybe i am wrong. Even if you are.

If you don't want the tickets ill buy them!! :D

EDIT: Sorry row z is last upstairs, its double downstairs!

Plastic fold-up seats as opposed to a bench seat or even the padded seats that are in the committee box.

Have they posted out Aus/SA tickets separately from Fiji tickets? I got by SA and Aus tickets yesterday but not Fiji.

Which ticketmaster was this? seems a bit odd for the tickets to have gone to ticketmaster. I would have assumed they would be given to clubs to sell

Ticketmaster are not handling any of our ticket sales for the Guinness Series 2009 internationals.

Probably because they are insanely expensive. I just bought 5 tickets for Scotland v Australia for less than £90.

Well if I could find out anyone sellings Boks tickets I would buy them. I know a few people from South Africa living in Dublin and they are having a nightmare trying to track some down. I think they may be resorting to buying from touts if they don't find some soon.

Got tickets from Munster branch for AIs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14 Dublinlad09

Cheers for that. I dont think my South African friends would really be interested in paying that much when it's only the one match they are interested in.

    !

Watched Italy v Ireland from a seat where I could touch the roof and I might as well have been at home, maybe it was the deadness of that particular game after Darcy broke his arm.
