My Disco keeps dropping down at the rear left hand side and i have to press the button to higher the suspension, does anyone know off a good Land Rover mechanic that could sort this ,I cant afford main dealers prices so a cost effective mechanic would be great. I live in the Dublin area. Many Thanks in advance

    Patience Iago!

If it is dropping it is probably an air leak. Take is somewhere quiet and have a listen. Bring some soapy water and spray around the base of the air bellows

You would be best advised to sort this sooner rather than later. The compressor will be working overtime to keep the bag inflated. The price of a compressor Vs. Bag

Power Landrover in Ballinaclash, Co. Wicklow are just as highly recommended as Kings, and no more expensive either. Either way, they'll be a bit of a spin for you from Phibsboro....

I don't know any independents over that side of the city, but maybe someone else does?

    Hi

Hootanany, apologies for not posting earlier. I have used both Power and Kings in Wicklow over the years.

There was no comparison in service from my own point of view. I was really taken back by the poor customer service in Power Landrover. Not only poor customer service but bloody expensive too. I paid about 3-400% more in Powers than i expected. without a doubt it was the worst customer service experience I can almost remember having in recent years.

I had work done in Kings a few year ago and found them to be very willing to help and knew the machines inside out and indeed went away a well informed and happy customer.

After getting roasted and later like a fool ringing around and finding out a bit more about Powers, rather than before, it seems that this is the norm for them. They say the best education is through your pocket, we definitely are not in times where we can get very rude and patronising service and at a premium price. I would consider myself fairly easy going in relation to spotting the fact that people are having a bad day etc and giving them a break. I just didn't get that impression.

I will not be returning there again,

best of luck sorting out your problem with your suspension,

    Cheers, F.J .
