I accidently clicked on a google link from search links yesterday and a site containing young girls in seductive poses came up. They girls appeared fully clothed but still very inappropriate imo.

I clicked out if it straight away but am worried I could get into trouble over it. Would my ISP report this to the Guards? Should I be as worried as I am? I didn't report it should I have?

You have nothing to worry about. Trust me on that.
unless you are actually looking for various sites with....you know what. and downloading them and sharing them I wouldn't get worried. so just be more careful where you go on the net in future.

I agree with the above. Only real danger is infecting your computer with spyware/malware/adware/viruses. Try not to follow popups as they usually lead to trouble. And use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, as it is less susceptible to spyware/malware/adware/viruses.

As for somebody sitting in Eircom watching what you download ??... They are too busy messing up broadband orders to have time to do this.

it has happened that trojans were downloaded on people's computers. These sat deep in the system and downloaded child pornography without the user realising this. The user was then charged, and it took a lengthy investigation to clear him.

but you can come accross such viruses in all sorts of ways, not just on a porn site
