Lads i see liverpool are evs to beat fulham sat.. Is this the value bet of the season.. Too many times Liverpool have got big results against big teams and have come out the following week and dropped points to weaker teams ..Surely they wont let it happen after the utd result..

Fulham are not to underestimated. Did you see the draw at Eastlands this weekend? Fulham are a tight outfit and anything Liverpool get at Craven Cottage will be earned. There will bet better value bets of the season than that one.

Sure Man Utd were probably the value bet of the season last weekend... :p

Look at page two in the topic ''how many people''..I really fancied liverpool against utd..I know fulham got the draw at eastlands but city went asleep after going two up and i dont rate city either..Fulham beat utd at home last season so they can be tricky , also i have a policy of not backing away teams but just this once i might go against it.. I was expecting them to be priced at best 4/6 so i was very surprised to see boyles offering evs

Well, I'd caution by saying Liverpool were evens away to Sunderland as well. I wouldn't put the house on it lets say, but it is attractive.

    Gerrard & Johnson both out.

Two seasons ago Fulham were 2nd bottom in the home league table conceding 32 goals. Last season they were 6th, 2 points behind Arsenal & 3 behind Chelsea and conceding only 16 goals. Obviously a vast improvement.

Recently they should have taken care of Arsenal at home, they were unfortunate that their strikers, who seem to always have an off-day - decided to have another.

They have played 4 at home this season losing 2 (Arsenal & Chelsea) and winning two (v Hull & Everton).

Thread with extreme caution even if Gerrard and Johnson were playing.

Can see pool winning it but conceeding a goal or 2 in the process.
Fulham are definitely no mugs so far this season, playing decent to come back from 2 nil down to nearly win last weekend.

Anyone listen to sport @ 7 on thursdays? the all knowing Dunphy reckons the weekend banker is a chelsea and arsenal double (value ain't great and london derby could go any way).

Anyone else got any value considerations for the weekend?

I think this is worth a few bob, especially if you are a Liverpool supporter.
They will bounce back. Go for it......

especially if you are a Liverpool supporter.

Nothing to do with it! There is some value there but I just don't trust them at all - relying to Torres too much IMO.

Id agree with you if Gerrard and Johnson are out il give it a miss..Usually when liverpool have a big result they come out the following week and f..k it up against weaker opposition , for once i think they wont fail this weekend but with gerrard out away from home i think il give it a miss now.. Anyone fancy utd to give blackburn a walloping..

Value bet of the season for me so far has to have been United v CSKA in Moscow.
Couple of nice shillings made back on that one :)

It seems a nice enough price alrite, but i rarely back against Fulham at the Cottage..!!!
Burnley at 11/10 at home to Hull would be my bet of the weekend!!!!!!!!!
