2005 diesel toyota corolla

    Hi my NCT is due in a couple of weeks. have a Toyota Corolla 1.4 diesel 2005, 68000 miles. has it got a timing belt or chain and around what mileage does it need to be done and roughly what will it cost?

    1.4 D-4D has a timing chain and should be good for the life of the engine afaik. Ring a dealer to be sure though.

    Yup, the 1.4 D-4D has a timing chain.
