    Question:

If I have spare xtratherm polyiso floor insulation (75mm) left over, would it be a badc idea to use this in the wall cavity of my garage?

If it is a bad idea, why?

    or

Could it be used between the rafters in the roof of the garage?

    Thanks,

    Mike.

Either really would be fine in a garage - not many people insulate detached garages. Of course T&G boards would be better in a cavity wall.

I'd put them between the rafters - nice snug fit, if friction fitted.

I think I'd use them over en-suite or bathrooms if possible... a little more heat in these rooms would be nice and comfortable...

If you have enough to insulate the whole garage why not return it for credit?

If you dont have enough to do the whole garage I couldn't see much advantage insulating on or two walls..
