Vodafone live 3G block ports?

    Hi There,

This probably suited to Net/Comms as well but anyways....

I've a web server running on tomcat 8080 as well as a server running on a custom port.

I cannot contact either via my 3G Vodafone live contract. On the same server I've apache on 80, and this connects ok.

I've done some searching (not much I must admit) and it seems people do have a problem but threads are out dated and a lot english.

Can someone quickly confirm that they block ports, and if there is a solution such as changing APN.

    Thanks.

The isp apn should be largely unrestricted. See sticky for settings and pricing.

You could try the live apn with and without proxy too.

Yes I changed to ISP for the fun of it to see and it actually worked.

    Thanks!
