Flanger pedal recommendations?

Hi Guys
Looking to buy a flanger pedal. Did a bit of searching on the web & various forums. Does anyone here own any flanger pedal or recommend any particular pedal to buy. I'm looking for that classic Robert Smith of the Cure sound or The Andy Summers of the Police sound. I've heard the Electro Harmonix electric mistress deluxe would be perfect for that type of sound but just wonderng if any of you guys have some other suggestions.

What you want is a chorus pedal for the sounds your after.
The boss Super Chorus is a good pedal.

Yeah, sounds like you should look at chorus first. Flanger is that big jet plane sound, chorus is more The Cure.

Marshall Regenerator... i lovley... lots of poeple don't like the Marshall stuff based on their old ones but they are brillant. Its gives you six effects for about €100 (or less) which have a really nice analogue sound.

Boss stuff is great also, Line 6 stuff aswell.

Thats a tasty pedal. Looking at some new toys for my pedal board and this might find its way in.

i imagine the current ones sound just as good too,
