I didnt want to put this in the N97 thread as its 120pages long and could get lost in the new firware debate.

Anyways, i have the n97 (bought it 2nd hand), locked to o2. i received the unlocking code from o2 but it seems the previous owner has already tried to unlock himself as its giving me "NOT ALLOWED" when i enter the code.

is there any way to get the 3 tries back?

Pretty sure it means it can only be unlocked by cable now, not sure where your gonna find someone to do that though mate.
