Sexual health services in Ireland.

Long time since I had anything to do with healthcare in Ireland.

Can anyone else tell me if sexual health services in Ireland incorporate HIV management, or is that all done by the ID docs?

I do some sexual health stuff in Oz, and am even (half) considering becoming a dual trainee to become a sexual health specialist too.
I'd like to have a HIV commitment though, as that's my interest.

Would I be able to do that in Ireland? Or would I need to do I.D?

I don't know about this but you might find the answers you seek in the syllabi for specialist registrar schemes on here:

On the rare occasion I've come across HIV+ pts in the hospitals they've all been managed by infectious disease specialists.
