    STOP USING IT!

If it is getting hot enough to burn your hand THERE IS A SHORT CIRCUIT IN THE CHARGER, most likely in the plug from when you forced it in.

    THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD

Yes, it really is All-CAPS worthy.

In warrenty or out of warrenty?

i would suggest a new AC but if its difficult to connect to the unit
the dc inlet could be warped or dammaged from heat and if it has burned you
toshiba should follow up on PRODUCT LIABILITY

ring them and take photos of your injurys.

He held it in his bloody hand for hours at a time.. of course he's going to get burned. It's his own damn fault.

Product Liability me bollox, from my reading, the OP caused his own problems when he decided to jam it in in the first place.

That sounds seriously dangerous, don't keep doing that.

If your good with a soldering iron, you can buy a new power jack and replace the old one and maybe get a new charger because I doubt that heat did any good.

It can be either a simple job to replace the power socket or it could be near impossible.
Open it up and take a photo of the jack.

well, it will make a great egg fryer now.

Like I was saying though even an out of date power supply: you can still complain to the company if only to have them issue a recall, as it might be a problem with the design of the charger. I hate to think of some granny or child with the same power lead not realising it only to have their house burnt down one day.
