    hello hello,

I have a lump on my lower back, roughly at the base of my spine, it's a about the size of a large acne spot, it has been there for a month at least, probably longer, bleeds pretty much every day. For the first week or so it was was fairly sore but this past month ive been in no pain bar the odd day when it seemed a bit over sensitive. was talking to a mate of mine who reckoned it could be an ingrown hair. sorry about the punctuation in the post, or lack of it, but my keyboard has not stood the test of time well

are these symtomatic of ingrown hairs? anyone any experience of this, how would i go about treating it bar getting a doctor involved, cheers in advance :)

Could be and its a common enough problem in that area, but since I nor anyone else here has done a medical degree(well some have so feck off:)) and even if they had they wouldnt give an online diagnosis anyway. None of us can advise you about this. Any symptom that lasts this long should be checked. the earlier the better. Please go to your doctor. It will really put your mind at rest.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
