    Hi there,
Can someone recommend a good architect in the Sth Tipp area. We are just starting out on the road of building our own home. We have an idea of what we would like room wise in the house but dont have any other firm idea's of what we want. We are thinking that an architect would give us more idea's of interesting ways of doing things and that an engineer would more likely give you an out of the box design - is this generally how it works? Have people found that architects are worth the extra cost?

Also, i was thinking that we would use the architect for the planning design phase and then get an engineer involved for the rest of the build - this i hope would reduce the cost. Have people found any problems with this before?

    Thanks,
    Bomber.

    Thanks kg_southtipp.

Does anyone else have an recomendations on which the best method is (use architect & engineer OR just one or the other for entire build) from your past experiences? Can you recommend any particular engineers or architects?

    Thanks,
    bomber.
