Hopefully some of the tech lads here can help me. Link below has a guitar on it (Ibanez S470) which has the pickups Im trying to identify. Ive emailed the guy from the site, and hes telliing me they are H7/H8 pickups. Now a little homework reveals that H7/H8 (Dimarzio) are made for Fenders, so it doesnt quite add up.

Anyway Id really appreciate if someone could take a quick look and let me know their thoughts. http://www.bonjovi.de.vu/ then click the equiptment link, its the first guitar listed. Cheers guys.

They look like standard V7 and V8 that you get on a lot of lower-mid end Ibanez's

Thank you very much feylya - I appreciate that!. How you you rate those against the stock AH1/AS1/AH2's in an S470 QS?

No idea, never played with those pickups. V7 and V8's are ok, not terrible, not great. Budget pickups really. A pair of Seymour Duncans or others of that quality would be an improvement.
