Not 100 percent sure but i think its something like

    mayo
    tomato sauce
    tabasco
    cayenne pepper

Not sure how much of each so prob of a matter of experimenting...

Yeah, if you ask one of the guys for a tub of taco sauce he'll fill one up for you. I used to get it for lunch in school, portion of wedges, portions ot cocktail sausages and a tub of taco sauce.

40% mayo, 40% sour cream, 20% ketchup, some paprika, chili powder, cumin and coriander seed is how I make it. It's goood.

I buy it from a local butchers. It's the same as used by the shops. Made by a company called Richer Sauces. Anyway you can make a near perfect replication of taco chips at home. I actually prefer my own now to what I'd get from a takeaway. All you do is get a packet of old el paso taco seasoning spice and add it to some mince. Can chop up an onion and cook it with the mince. Stick some chips on and grate up some cheese. When the mince has browned throw in the taco spice. Then just add the mince to the chips, throw on a load of taco sauce and grated cheese and you have some amazing taco fries

Perhaps a bit of hot Paprika would work for spice and colour, must check the packet ingredients next time and try one from scratch

being from america we are well versed on mexican food, i think i kinda know what ur on about the recipe would be roughly, equal parts mayonaise to sour cream then a few tablesppons salsa, blend it if you want a smooth sauce. add cumin cilantro if u fancy it.
