Don't put yourself through that much stress:rolleyes:
Doing a flywheel on your back is asking for trouble. You'll have to lift the front off the ground by the chassis, not the sub frame. Im trying to think of axel stands high enough to even do the job. Then you'll have to take out the 2 rear 21mm bolts holding the subfame up and loosin the the 21mm bolts at the front of it but not remove them. Thats just to lower the transmission enough to get bolts at the top of the bell housing and remove it. Its easy enough when you have an extra 2 hands in work lifting down a big transmission but on your back could be dangerous.
    Have you a pit?
    Are you a mechanic?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you,I'd go with plug on this one you need a ramp or pit and transmission jack of some sort. it's no punto gearbox!!

sure if you have all the parts you can get that done for around 150-200 euro in dublin.

I done it on the ground with VW Passat. Similar size gear box and god awkward position with everything in the way. Took 3 of us. But we had to drive it up on wooden self-made ramps. We had 3 feet clearance. Two guys with one hand each on either end of the gear box and a jack in the middle is enough to get it out. VERY awkward job and I can't recommend it unless you are with a mechanic. But shop around , you might get a good deal these days in garages if you have the parts already.
