Survivor Series buildup thread 21/11/09-Will contain Raw/ECW/SD Spoilers....

Probably way to early for this thread but whats the worst that can happen?:D
The Summerfest buyrate was dire so I imagine the E will be going all out to persuade its fans to fork out the big bucks for this PPV.

We have one match announced, Cena v HBK v Hunter for the WWE title, and we expect on SD that they will announce Taker v Show for the Heavyweight title, a match up that is never ever good.

Hopefully we get some good 5 on 5 matches last years selections were pretty dull.
Thoughts. opinions etc..?

How about a big RAW Vs Smackdown multi-man tag featuring all the top stars from each show.

As I said, was looking forward to Team DX vs Team JeriShow, although the Raw main event could be pretty good. Particularly if someone turns heel. Anyone. Anyone turning heel in that match would be brilliant. Anyone at all. The ref. Jerry Lawler. Anyone. Someone needs to turn heel in that match.

Kofi and Orton will probably be announced, unless they're going to be team captains for a SS match, which means DiBiase and Rhodes would likely be with Orton, and MVP and Henry with Kofi. Nice to see MVP and Henry still teaming.

Hopefully Christian has a title defence. And not in a 1 on 1 match, I'd like to see maybe a Fatal 4 way or something. Perhaps even a championship scramble. I thought that was a great new match type.

We'll probably get Batista V Rey, which could be good enough.

Hopefully Ziggler gets another IC title shot and actually wins.

Thats my 2c for now anyway

If Big Show is fighting Taker for WHC title where does that leave Jericho and the tag titles?

I like the traditional 5 on 5 tag-team elimination matches so hopefully 2 or 3 will make the card

Two Triple Threat matches for the tirles. Both matches have tag teams going against the champ. Thats stupid.

Could they not of had Cena v HBK v Show and Taker v Jericho v HHH.

At least that way they could of billed it as the tag teams trying to take over to prove they are the best rather than just how will the tag partners get on against each other in the matches.

The two main events are HBK v Hunter v Cena and Taker v Show v Jericho, apart from Cena all those dudes are pushing 40, way to push new talent Vince. :rolleyes:

Punk will end up in one of the teams, probably with Orton I reckon.

The working idea this past week was to have a Team Kofi vs. Team Orton match under traditional Survivor Series rules at the Survivor Series pay-per-view later this month. The teams would be Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry and a partner vs. Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes and a partner. It’s expected that Jack Swagger will be on Team Kofi, with The Miz on Team Orton. A rumor going around was that the Smackdown creative team had been planning a Team Batista vs. Team Mysterio match also

Punk really does look like the odd man out right now. But I guess it does happen, and at least they're doing the angle with Armstrong in the meantime. Smackdown's looking a little heavy on the heel side atm.

I would like him to captain a team but he will probably end up making up the numbers on Orton's team.

- According to Mike Johnson, there is talk of having Batista challenge The Undertaker at the Royal Rumble PPV. There has also been disucssion about giving Batista the belt heading into Wrestlemania.

I think Rey will lose (he is working with an injury so no doubt Batista will hurt him bad :rolleyes:)

I'd prefer to see Taker/Jericho continue their feud than Batista/Taker tbh

Yes Im the same, will have to have a good think about purchasing tonights PPV. will see how im feelin at 11 or so, by then i might have fell asleep or the storm might have taken out the power, I guess time will answer these questions;)

The PPV debut of Sheamus is one of the few interesting things in the show.

The two survivor series matches are interesting but they are only being used to further feuds, hardly worth shelling out money for or staying up late for.

Even the rey v batista match was ruined by the hold harmless agreement idea. That suggest Batista is gonna beat the living daylights out of rey.

Hmmmm some people might actually pay to see that... where is orestes when you need him.
