Is he being wasted on ECW now?

I mean it was fine at the start and i think he paid paid his dues there so isnt it time he moved to RAW or SD (SD needs more faces and i love to see feud with Jericho or Punk or even Taker)

I was thinking about this yesterday, and I may be completely crazy, but I'd love to see him win the Royal Rumble. I mean, apart from Jericho, Edge or maybe CM Punk, I can't think of who else I'd like to see win it. DiBiase could win it, but I think its too early for him. All the other main eventers bar who I've already mentioned have won it before. Christians in the right place. Sort of main event, but definitely higher than midcard. I'd say if he dropped the ECW title at Armageddon (or TLC, whatever gimmick it is now), it'd be great to have him win the Rumble and go on to challenge Smackdowns Champ at Wrestlemania.

Realistically though, I doubt it'll happen. Though I would like to see him go to Smackdown. I don't think he's wasted on ECW, after all he's being booked as a fairly strong champion. But I think with just a bit more of a push he could be a top guy

Nope.
He has it lovely on ECW, the show is built around him, he does not have to deal with the politics of the other two shows and he gets to wrestle talented guys like Swagger, Rydder and Regal.
He is making good money and is normally a regular on PPV'S, so I imagine he is content to wait for his inevitable move to the so called holy grail that is Raw or Smackdown.

Yes and no. While I do think he'd be much more valuable to another brand, he's doing excellent work in ECW helping to establish Ryder, Yoshi and Swagger before. Plus, his matches on ECW have been top notch.

i think he is being wasted beccause of the pop he gets at all the areans he could be a huge draw for raw or smackdown but then again he is the top man on ecw where he probaly wouldnt be near the top of raw or smackdown

He's not being wasted, in the sense that he's the focal point of the entire ECW show, and the figure head of it. Plus, he's able to work longish tv main events, and work with alot of younger guys.

On the other hand, he is being wasted, because he's rarely used on PPV, is rarely seen by the majority of the overall audience, and with the lack of roster depth in ECW, the opportunity for long-term feuds is rather weak. But it's better that he finish off there on top, rather than be lost in the mid-card on one of the other shows. Hopefully they switch him to Raw soon though- he could be a massive asset to them, while someone less appealing to joe casual, but equally as experienced, could head to ECW.

Where would ECW be without Christian?
You have heel presence of Regal,Jackson,Kozlov,Ryder,Burchill.
I think Shelton could step up but it would be difficult.
Then you're left with the faces, Goldust,Hurricane.Yoshi and Dreamer.
I would write off Goldust and Hurricane because nobody will take
them seriously.
Add Abraham Washington to the mix and the whole show sinks.

He's one of a small number of people who make the show worth watching, and one champion that they're allowing to look strong. If/when he does lose his strap, it'll actually matter - meaning it could be a big step towards getting someone new over. At this point in his career (he says on his myspace that he's looking to get into acting more now) it may be the best use for him in the company.

Christian is the top dog on ECW. He's holding the show together, and honestly it's a good position for him, he also has a chance to work and help with the younger talent like Tyler and Yoshi. If he went to Raw, he would be consumed by all the politics. He'd be jobbed out to Cena or Orton and wouldn't get a chance at the World Championship. If he went to Smackdown, which I think is the better of the two shows. He'd still have to compete with the other Main Eventers. I just wouldn't like to see him end up like Matt Hardy or Kane. But I do hope if WWE do a draft this year, that he'll get drafted to Smackdown,

He's being held back as a bit of a punishment for joining TNA but he will be called up to Smackdown within 4 months I'd say.

I don't think thats the case, Christian would be too good a performer to "hold back" Look at Jeff Hardy the time he came back from TNA He got a push on the day of his return, No hard feelings. I don't think WWE are going to punish someone who joins another wrestling promotion,Especially a small threat like TNA.

i mean fair play to sheamus for getting a move to raw but i would have rather seen christian being moved so he could fued with swagger again
I would like to see a smackdown move for him so he could fued with punk jericho, morrison, ziggler rey or batista

I doubt he will go back to tna he seems too young for there now and still able to work good matches (sorry tna really gone to pot as of late)

I think SD would be the place for him to go. SD seems to let their lesser stars keep their push (except for Ziggler). Look at McIntyre, Jo Mo and, even now, Truth. If he went to Raw, I could see him getting lost in the pack (like Rey did when he moved to the red brand).

I think he'll be the last ECW champ as I think NXT are getting their own belt plus all the ECW wrestlers will become "free agents" in 2 weeks time.

He won't go to TNA right now imo.

A re-form of Edge and Christian would get Christian would get him outta mid-card status

He could be a contender to win the MITB. atm id have him and Kofi as the two favourites for that. Until then, didnt they say something about him and the other ECW guys being free agents due to NXT. I had problems with my stream so missed the comments the commentators where reffering to with this though.

Id like to see him as the MITB winner go after Edge if he should beat Jericho (asssuming taker drops the belt at EC), but if not Edge id still like to see him on SD.

Christian, Edge, Jericho & Punk all on the same brand would be nice

That would be excellent and I think there really is a place for him on SD at the moment, ok he's probably going to unify the ECW title with The World title but after that I really think Christian deserves and would be excellent in a long program with maybe Morrison or Punk, think that might get me reguarly watching smackdown again

if both SD and Raw have fatal four way main events then id expect Christian to be one of the 4 on the SD side.

edit: Especially after seing the Edge/Christian bit on SD, I can see the WWE following through and placing him in the main event scene long term on SD instead of the IC picture for example

i think he needs to appeal more to the crowd sorry "peeps" with his promos maybe involve them more

its kinda a shame both jericho and edge went to raw

i thought christian would be next to feud with swagger instead of show
