Can anyone confirm if a US PSP Go is fully campatible on Euro PSN for downloading games etc?

Have a chance for someone to grab one for me in the states this week for euro equiv of about €170 - got me thinking would it be worth it?

Yep, it's fully compatible, you just sign in to a European PSN account on it. I have to say though, that you might be better off using an American PSN account on it as there are more games on the US PSN and they work out cheaper to with the currency conversion in our favour.

Just to warn you though that you won't be able to get your 3 free games from Sony Europe on a US PSPgo.

    Thanks GothPunk.

    couple of follow on q's:

If I have a Euro PSN a/c for the PS3 is it one and the same to use on PSP Go?

Can I set up a US PSN a/c and chop and change at will, or is it a case that once the PSP go is linked to a given a/c that's it's a/c for life?

Also, tell me more about the 3 free games from Sony Europe - how do you avail of that and what game choice is out there at the mo?

Yes you can use the same account on your PSPgo. You can actually use it on up to 5 PS3s and 5 PSPs.

It's not as easy as switching accounts is on the PS3, but yes you can use more than one account on the PSP. You just need to sign in to the right account if you want to play something that is associated with that account. You can switch accounts on the PSPgo itself using the wifi connection, MediaGo on a PC or by transferring something from a PS3.

Here's the link to the Sony website about it. The games are all Sony games, you pick three from a list of 17. I got Killzone Liberation, Ratchet and Clank and Resistance Retribution.
