I am thinking of asking my doctor about this procedure. Has anyone ever had it performed as opposed to a circumcision ? Would appreciate any views or experiences on it.

Well since it appears to keep the structure of the penis and the foreskin intact I would say it looks like a better bet than getting the foreskin removed. If it's available as an outpatient then recovery time is going to be less too. The problem may be getting someone to perform it as going straight to a full circumcision seems to be more the norm. That is if it's applicable to your case and there are no other issues, so you need medical advice on it.

I'd get a few opinions from different doctors first. A mate of mine had a tight "banjo string" and the first couple of doctors he went to just said circumcision straight off the bat. Which was a tad OTT to say the least. The last doctor(ironically a woman) suggested a small op to sort the problem. Which it did. no circumcision required. Bring the info with you to your GP and see what he/she says.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Had it done on July 14th this year. Very impressed. I'll post a link.
