I've been looking through this forum for a while and it seems to be full of people saying heroes is useless! personally I think it's still one of the best programmes on tv despite the drop in standard from season 1 to now....Its the one show I look forward to watching every week:cool:

Yeah im still loving it, this and house are the only new things on tv i still watch regularly. I am getting the impression that some people only watch it so they can complain about it

It's just we know how good Heroes COULD be, before they botched it.

In fairness the last two seasons have been fairly s**t. This season is great.

I will admit it lost its way, but session 4 is on par with session 1. Its been great so far, i just hope the veiwing figures improve.

Haven't seen the latest episode yet but this season has been good.

They seriously lost their way for a couple of seasons, though.

I am sick of people complaining about this season which I think has been a pleasant surprise in terms of how strong it's been. Perfectly acceptable to complain about the previous 2 seasons but I just had a read of the thread on the recent episode and still people are whingeing. Don't know what it will take to please some people.

The story is building really well right now and while I wouldn't put it at Season 1 standards, it's not far off it in my view.

Wasn't there a "I still love heroes" thread a while back? Let this be the next incarnation of that thread!

    I FREAKIN LOVE IT!

I'm getting more into it now than I've ever been - I missed a lot of Season 1 cos of work and stuff.

I actually cannot wait for next week's episode. Loving it.

This is miles off season 1 imo, loads of filler rubbish and doesnt look like its going anywhere decent, wish i could stop watching but ive been into it from the start so will have to stick with it.

People complained in season 1. The creator Tim Kring tried changing things to suit them and made a balls of it. So no matter how good it is people will still complain.

I'm loving this season. Only complaint I have is Robert Kneppers accent. Is he Irish, Scottish, Pikey? :)

It's nothing near season one. It's so disappointing because we know how good it could be but instead we get substandard episodes mostly. I really genuinely hope it gets canceled.

Nope, i love people complaining about it.

I find it much less annoying than complaining about the government:):)

And i love the way people who like heroes hate being compared to comic book nerds!

    Dont ye,

    ye nerds;);)

That's a painfully bad excuse. I put up with the same rubbish from friends over Lost. There's loads of other shows out there to sample.

If Heroes makes it to season 6 or so ( which I doubt ), this forum will still have the exact same posts, 'Oh I cant quit now, Ive stuck with it this far'.. blah blah blah. It's not ultra-heroin or something... just quit watching!

It's standard for fans to bitch about their show....it's apart of BEING a fan.

Season 2 jumped the shark but people recommend 4 so I might start watching again

You should watch Volume 4 before you start with Season 4 (Volume 5). There's a few important happenings in Vol. 4 and, also, it's quite good (mostly).

Ive honestly never watched a show for a season or two and then given up on it, ive never really been tempted to before this because most of what i watch i really like. Its not awful enough to stop watching to be honest but i just know how much better it could be and that makes me sad.

Also Lost is, was and always has been amazing!!!! :)

anyone remember when pete and sylar finally met in sureshes(sp) apartment in season one, we got the bad guy who kills people to steal their powers Vs the good guy who just has to stand beside someone to take their power, like how can this end, dam show cut for 3 weeks then :D

most exciting moment in tv ever!

thats it, i am downloading season 1 again :)

no season or episode of any show will compare to it

I complained about this show all the time, because it turned into a train wreck of a show.

Season One was brilliant, despite some dull characters (Parkman, Claire, Peter) and weak acting (the same three again). but the show it self was brilliant.

Season Two and Three were a mess. Bad writing, weak plots and disastrous continuity. The true same of it all is the tremendous work behind the scenes by the crew as can be seen in those Heroes Unmasked mini documentaries. The work on sets, effects, stunts, etc. was exemplary. It's the producers, writers and actors really let us down.

I watched the first episode of Season Four this morning. It was a marked improvement on the previous episodes. I don't know if this is because of the presence of Robert Knepper combined with the absence of Milo Vertawhatis (Peter) and the death of that twat of a character at the hands of Darth Maul, but I have hope for the upcoming season. :)

I was about to say season 4 is **** etc. yet i find myself still watching it.

Ok apart from the weakish story that really could have been covered in 6 episodes, what really bugs me is that is it's jumping around from character to character each ep without any kind of consistency at all, loads of it is just pure filler unless there is a BIG plot device to join everything 99% of it is unnecessary. Peter and the chelo girl especially are annoying. He was so much better when he didn't suck lol now he seems to be dead weight in the script.

Well that's it for me, despite watching every episode from the beginning we've removed it from our Sky+ and cancelled the series link, it's got to the stage where despite all these mad events and revelations, nothing actually happens in the program.
