Google Analytics and/or Crazy Egg

    Hi Everyone,

I am currently working on a website and I pretty much need all of the information I can get about user behavior, entry/exit pages etc. The usual ;) I am going to use Google Analytics and use a few add on programmes to make it more efficient but I am wondering if Crazy Egg may be better?

Has anyone got any experience with Crazy Egg? I like the idea of knowing exactly where someone clicked and where that click originated from. However, from what I can tell it isn't as comprehensive as GA. Has anyone used both GA and Crazy Egg at the same time? Is this even a good idea?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I've used both, generally an analytics package for a collect all POV, while using heatmaps on something specific such as testing.

You can implement something like ClickHeat quickly and it's free.

I used GA and Google Analytics at the same time. Using both didn't seem to cause any problems, but probably not a good idea for the long-term as it might slow things down a bit.

I didn't really like the interface on Crazy Eggs and found GA more comprehensive. I also found that Crazy Eggs had difficulty in displaying/reading stats from drop-down menus or dynamic content. Now I just use GA :)

Anybody get unusual data from GA over the weekend?
