If Ireland could put out their strongest 7s team for an international tournament, who would you put in it? Who would thrive with all that space?

I've been thinking about this since is was OKed for the Olympics.

O'Leary would go great in it with his speed. Not sure which forwards would be suited to the game, Wallace probably, maybe Ferris.

    What do people think?

As many ball handlers as possible: Fitzgerald,Earls,Falloon,D.Fogarty,Heaslip and so on. People might think I'm taking the mick but Alan Quinlan is a very good sevens player.

Wallace used play sevens back in the day... his bulk with his speed = train

Yeah, it's in the family, Richard was a world class sevens player.

Ferris would be good too, fast, direct. Felix Jones is a decent sevens player, but if we are thinking about the olympics (and we should!) bringing the game to a broader schools base is the main item. That takes money, which I'm not sure Lansdowne can bring in.
