Hi guys,

I have recently been made unemployed and am looking for a job (who isnt!!).

I am hoping to leave my current line of work (accountancy) and delve into the health sector (hopefully a paramedic).

I was looking on the Irish Ambulance Training Institute and they are offering a 6 day course which costs €800 euro. Would I, or how would I find out if FÁS or Social Welfare would support this or pay some of it? Are there a list of things that you can get help with regarding courses which are not FÁS courses?
