Sensitive teeth after sinus infection

Just a quick question there in case anyone can point me in the right direction. I got a sinus infection there a month or two back, and the teeth on the left side of my mouth became sensitive when I ate.

I took nuerofen for a week on the advice of a chemist. Then I went to the doctor and took actifed for a week, and then a course of antibiotics. Thing is, my teeth are still sensitive when I eat. It's been going on about 6 weeks now.

So my question is, do I need to go to a dentist, or back to the doc? Or will this thing clear up itself?

Not a dentist or doc but I have often had very sensitive teeth and fillings when I've had colds. When I was in college I had a cold every few weeks and my teeth would stop me from eating anything even slightly crunchy eg a battered sausage, biscuit, baguette etc.

Sinusitis often feels like a bad toothache but it usually clears up after a couple weeks. If your sinus feels really clear now and there are no other signs of having a cold or stuffed up nose then there may very well be a dental problem.

If it's quite a while since you had a dental checkup it would be a good idea to get one now.

Thanks for the advice guys. I still have signs of a sinus infection, but I might as well drop in to the dentist anyways and see what he has to say.

Yep I occasionally get sinus problems and phantom toothaches.

No harm to get it chacked out anyway, just to be absolutely sure.
