Where did that thread about the bus gate go? And why am I now getting an email from our beloved SU with a section that bears a strong resemblance to the original post in that thread?

I didn't see said post, but I'm fairly sure that's not what plagiarism is...

    To quote a mod.
Admin deleted it. OP was spamming.

Would have been nice if he just deleted 1st post then locked, but yeah, spam is spam

...and the SU e-mail bears a strong resemblance to the original post because the poster in question is also the SU's environmental and ethical trading officer. (or some similarly Green-ish post)

I'd hardly call it spamming. He wasn't trying to make any money, he was informing Trinity students of an issue that lots of them will care about.

It was about the bus gate in operation in College Green. Read all about it in your SU email. Apparently, according to this boards poster, the Dublin City Council are going to debate in November whether the bus gate should remain operational over Xmas.

Same post was posted a few times across multiple forums.

Admins saw it as spam and deleted it.

Feel free to start a new thread about the bus gate in here if you like. :)
