Dell Inspiron 1501 screen jumps when resumes from standby

    Having this problem quite a while but never bothered trying to fix it as i only used the laptop ocasionaly but it has, for the moment become my full time computer so would really appreciate if someone knew something about this.

    The screen jumps all over the place and does not stop after resuming from standbye. I have to turn off the computer and back on every time.

    i'd say try get the latest video drivers, maybe machine and bios driver too and start updating anything that you can

    could try these drivers if still having problems http://www.omegadrivers.net/
    although they're getting a bit dated
