where is this iphone from?

    hi people

    i have a question.

    when i got my first 2nd hand iphone 3g and reset all settings - it kinda froze. and silly me went ahead with itunes and got updated to 3.1.2. so annoyed was i that i went out and got another 3g unlocked and made sure i stayed on 3.0.

    now about that other iphone with 3.1.2. i finally managed to jailbreak using pwnage tool, but i have an issue.

    i couldnt activate it with either an o2 ireland or o2 uk 3g sim. and even now the iphone wont work with either. it makes me wonder, where is this iphone from originally?

    is there a way to find out?i mean, if its uk/ireland, an o2 sim should work right?making selling it easier?
