    Episode 1311 Press Release
The Japanese are on a mad-hunt to kill all the world’s dolphins and whales in an all-new “South Park” titled, “Whale Whores,” premiering on Friday, October 30th at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Stan and his family are spending his birthday at the Denver Aquarium where they will get to swim with the dolphins.

Things turn bloody when the Japanese attack, kill all the dolphins and ruin Stan’s big day.

There seems to be no end to the senseless killing, so Stan takes on the cause to save the dolphins from the Japanese....

    clip up on http://www.southparkstudios.co.uk/clips/sp_vid_254165/

clip is promising with the likes of randy in it, also the part where the japanese jump into the pool reminds me of the mongolians attacking Kim's wall of south park :D

I had to explain the pun in the title to my friend before he got it.

Looks like its going to be another good episode. This show has never dropped below 75% in recent years.

It wasnt clicking with me much after the initial lol factor of the japanese f*ck you dolphin! bit. I've never seen whale wars and I have no idea who the guy they were ripping into was. So the middle while amusing at parts didnt stand out. But the end...

That was awesome I thought it was building to a stupid moral ending for Stan with hiroshima as a contrast to the whale fishing. But when it got to the photo it clicked and I was like *oohhhhh god* but the F*CK YOU DOLPHIN! sold me on the idea.

You could rewatch the episode and still get huge lol factor cause you know why they say f*ck you dolphin.

probably the weakest since its return but still entertaining.

Very funny episode, probably the best since its been back. I prefer when the shows are about a topic and have a point rather than just taking the piss out of some celebrity.

I could not stop laughing through that episode brilliant. "**** you whale" is going up there with "I'm not your buddy guy". "I was talking about Wales the country" was pretty good too :D.

Don't forget-"they took our jobs" or from last week-"they took his dog".

Had a good laugh at Cartman making up some new lyrics for poker face.

Cartman singing was both awful and hilarious at the same time.

THe **** you Wale was great. And the Kamakazie attacks on the wales.

Wasn't the best so far but still a good episodes. The photo of stan with the dolphin was ridiculous.

The "They're normal like us now" with the chicken and cows was hilarious.

Kyle wasn't a focal point of the show for once (can't remember if he was even featured). Makes a change that he wasn't the morally outraged one.

LOVED the ending. The picture of the Whale and the Dolphin in the plane is one of my favourite South Park moments ever. Otherwise the episode was OK. Have never seen the original show which takes away from it a little

I don't understand the love for this episode here, I thought it was terrible to be honest, by far the worst of the season.

It was a good episode. Having never seen whale Wars it took away from it a bit but I liked the fighting for ratings between it and Deadliest Catch. The Japanese were brilliant.

Agreed. I thought it was disappointing. I liked the first 2/3 of the episode even though I'd never seen the Whale Wars show they were ripping into but I thought the Hiroshima stuff was stupid. It's as if they ran out of ideas as to where they needed to go with the storyline and just threw it in there. I found the conclusion to the show very unsatisfying.

I think they needed Randy to be the father. :D

Loved the episode, and thought the ending was brilliant. As for someone saying they ran out of ideas? The whole episode was pretty much built around the ending; so I don't see how anyone can say that. Obviously the whole point was to compare the west's reaction to "whales and dolphins" vs "cows and chickens". I've never seen Whale Wars either but its not necessary to have watched it in order to enjoy this episode; its obvious what they were getting at; and they were ripping on reality TV in general, which is always a good thing.

Was shocked Cartman never laughed or made fun of the name Enola Gay; when it was first mentioned I laughed out loud because I expected a brilliant reaction from Cartman; perhaps the writers thought it was too obvious.

I don't see how anyone can think the episode was built around the ending. To me that's giving this episode way too much credit. To me it was as if the writers asked themselves what would the American audience associate with the Japanese and they went with the first obvious thing that comes to mind - Hiroshima and the Atomic bomb.

Also how did the Hiroshima stuff fit in with the supposed "whales and dolphins" vs "cows and chickens" theme? I don't buy that as there weren't any references to that other than Randy's line at the end of the show.

I reckon they had a couple of ideas in mind and just decided to cram all of them in there in the hope it would work. For me anyway, it didn't.

Now that I think of it the episode reminded me a lot of - dare I say it - a Family Guy episode...

I have to say I'm completely the opposite. I found the first 2/3rds pretty dull but the ending totally made up for it!

I'd like to say the episode was overly silly but my god
"**** you dolphin and **** you whale"

What a fantastic line. Decent episode overall, I live in Boston so the deadliest catch type reality show stuff was a bit more relevant.
    Btw
Attacking the Miami Dolphin team was brilliant!

Cartman singing Poker Face was ****ing excellent. First time in a while I remember him actually sounding like a child too. Not quite as good as when he sang the Dawson's Creek theme though. :pac:

I woulda liked a reference to the whale they sent to the moon, although I guess they only cared about him because they thought he was an alien
